Visit a Quite Space for Prayer

Daily Devotional
People all over the world are constantly looking for the better item, whether buying fruit in a market or choosing a place to live. We examine, ponder, compare, and finally make a choice based on what we believe is better. I can’t imagine anyone saying, “I’m convinced this one is worse, so I’ll take it.”

Sermon of the Day: A Burning Heart->> by Leonard Ravenhill.

From the Pastor:

We had a great Easter Service last week and another great service yesterday. There were over 55 in attendance Easter Sunday (the high attendance since we took over as Pastors the September before last); we launched our mid-week youth ministry on Thursday night and had 26 in attendance between youth group and the prayer meeting, and this Sunday we had over 40 in attendance. Praise the Lord.

This Sunday we started and new sermon series titled "The Seven Spirits of Revival", a study of Christ's words to the seven churches in Asia found in Revelation chapters 2-3. The Church was moved by the Holy Spirit to seek their first love with everyone in attendance responding to the altar call. The Spirit of the Lord is moving to revive and restore our Church: Praise the Lord. Please join me in prayer that the Holy Spirit moves us to genuine revival and an outpouring that will affect the whole church and our community.

Plan on fasting on Thursday and coming to the prayer meeting. We have 1/2 hr of worship combined with the youth, 1/2 hour of preaching and 1/2 hour of intercessory prayer. God has especially blessed the meetings the last few weeks as we were going through a forty day period of fasting and prayer, and I believe that He will continue to bless our prayer meeting.

God Bless You, God Loves You, and I look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday at 7:00- Pastor Sam Smith
