From the Pastor: Praise the Lord! Our home sold and closed before hurricane Katrina headed into the gulf and caused a hurricane watch! Pray for people in Miami and Ft Lauderdale, over 1 million are without power. It's hard to imagine what it's like to be without power in Florida in August unless you've experienced it. No air conditioning is bad enough- many are also on wells, and without power there is no water either (we were there last year: no showers, can't even flush the toilets).
