Verse of the Day

9/26/2005

Prayer of the Day: Psa 27:8-9 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. (9) Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

We should be thankful for the dependability of the natural laws that the Creator has set in motion. They are a great benefit to us if we recognize and respect them. If we violate those laws, however, we will suffer the consequences. That is also true of God's spiritual laws, such as the one in today's text. The person who ignores God's standards and caters to sinful appetites can expect destruction. But the person who follows the leading of the Holy Spirit will experience the blessings of everlasting life. God's laws never fail. For better or worse, you will reap what you sow. Count on it!

Sermon of the Day: Our Day of Judgement is our Day of Redemption ->> by Memo Taboada.

From the Pastor: Praise the Lord! We have had someone saved for the third Sunday morning service in a row! Let's continue to pray that the Lord will bless and grow our church. This Saturday at 10:00 AM, we are beginning our "Adopt-A-Block" training and outreach. We have also approved a motion to put our extra property up for sale- please pray that we get a good price and that the sale closes quickly.

God Bless You- Pastor Sam Smith
